FAQs
Tickets are sold via Eventbrite. Cost is $62 + $6=$68
Eventbrite is the ticketing system we use and they charge $6/ticket.
Each year we announce well in advance the date and time when tickets will go on sale.
We announce this on the website as well as via our newsletter (subscribe at: www.rockefellerstateparkpreserve.org/newsletter) and social media.
Tickets are sold on a first come first serve basis. Please be advised that tickets usually sell very quickly so please mark your calendars. (NOTE: you will not see Hulda’s Night on Eventbrite until after the “on sale” date)
- There are no physical tickets. You should receive a confirmation email from Eventbrite after successfully purchasing your tickets.
- Eventbrite will have added your name to the audience list for that event.
- When you arrive the night of your performance, you check in at the Registration table, giving your name and ID.
- The name of the person who ordered the tickets will be on the list and this person must be in attendance at the time of check-in, please
All ticket sales are handled via Eventbrite.com www.rockefellerstateparkpreserve.org/events (forwards to our Eventbrite page) (NOTE: you will not see Hulda’s Night on Eventbrite until after the “on sale” date)
No. Tickets to Hulda’s Night are not refundable. Please be sure of your dates and times before purchasing tickets. If you are unable to make your event, please consider your ticket purchase as donation to the Preserve.
No. Reservations are issued in the name of the buyer and that is how we check you and your party in when you arrive. There are no physical tickets. The name of the person who orders the tickets will be on the list and this person must be in attendance at the time of check-in, please.
This is a two mile hike with some hills. It can be quite dark and AND there are 20 minute periods of standing. So, if walking two miles and standing for 20 minutes is difficult for you then this is not the event for you.
NOTE: Because it is night and can be quite dark (bring a flashlight), once the group departs it is very difficult for a visitor to change their mind and turn back. So please be sure you are comfortable with above. Thank you.
We love dogs at the preserve but this is NOT a dog friendly event.
Hulda’s Night is not generally a children’s event. Children over 10 please.
Of course! Join our mailing list to hear about all of the preserve’s events! Mailing list link: www.rockefellerstateparkpreserve.org/newsletter
Unfortunately, no. We host the event where we believe Hulda actually may have lived. This involves walking trails which are not rated as accessible due to hills and other factors.

Hulda is held in the part of the park where we believe she may actually have lived.
If we cancel before the event starts there we will contact ticket holders for the affected day and time via Eventbrite email which will explain refunds, exchanges etc. options at that time.
Tickets go on sale in September and sell out quickly. Visit EventBrite and select Rockefeller State Park Preserve as a “favorite” to be alerted when events are added. On some evenings, we may offer onsite ticket sales should we have a significant number of no-shows.
